This collection of map paintings is inspired by a love of maps and the beautiful shapes in the landscape from above. These paintings represent the Puget Sound and Portland geography in a recognizable yet abstract way. Several pieces utilize paper maps or other colorful papers to add pattern and depth to the thick layers of acrylic paint. Framed in a handmade inset wooden frame stained American Pine.
